Join Besiktas, Pepe Berose ala Ronaldo
Real Madrid and Portugal legend Pepe joined Turkish champions Besiktas. The 34-year-old center-back signed a two-year contract.
Since emerging from Porto in 2007, Pepe has won three La Liga titles and three Champions League trophies among the many great trophies in defense of Los Blancos. Uniquely, when introduced by Besiktas, Pepe showed off a typical celebration belonging to his best friend, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Pepe himself was actually linked with the club from Paris, Paris Saint Germain (PSG). But he turned out to prefer Besiktas who is a champion Super League Turkey. In a team identical to this Black-White color, Pepe will meet compatriot Ricardo Quaresma.
Pepe is actually reluctant to leave Real Madrid. But he was hurt by the management of his treatment. As a result, 34-year-old player was also rejected the offer of contract renewal proposed by Los Blancos. Pepe wanted two years, but management was only willing to take a year.
Upset with the treatment of Madrid, Pepe was decided to leave from the Santiago Bernabeu. He decided to seek adventure with a new club.
